Up In Pieces Custom Puzzles
You
can't make quality puzzles without quality tools and supplies. We
use 7 color wide format inkjet printing, with ultrachrome
inks (which are UV and water resistant and rated to last 80 years).
We print on top of the line photo quality paper then finish the
print with a varnish to enhance durability. Your photo reprint is
not just a photocopy. It will last generations.
We know your photos are special and you can be sure that we treat
them that way. An in-house graphic designer oversees every puzzle
order. We treat each puzzle individually to best fit it to the customer's
desires. We never stretch or skew a photo, instead we may crop or
add a matched color border to the puzzle.
After we have your print, we laser cut the puzzle. Advantages of
using a laser instead of a puzzle press include being able to make
any shape you want and/or any design you want. Since your puzzle
is cut with a laser and not "pressed," the pieces lie
flat next to each other leaving your finished puzzle smooth with
less line visibility.
