How
soon can I expect to receive the puzzle I ordered?
Once Up In Pieces receives your completed order (puzzle artwork and payment),
you should receive your puzzle within approximately two weeks. This timeframe includes
one week for ground delivery from Boise, Idaho.
Do you offer rush services?
Up In Pieces offers upgraded shipping and rush production services for an
additional fee. You may be able to receive your order in as few as 2 days.

Can you tell me what resolution
a digital photo must be in order to create a puzzle?
Use the chart below as a guideline to determine the size of photo required
for a quality puzzle print. Some photos enlarge better than others. You
may always email us your digital file and we
will let you know what how large of puzzle you can order.

I have a postcard size photo print.
Will this work well for a puzzle?
A quality postcard size photo print will usually enlarge well up to an
18x24" puzzle. Refer to the chart above for developed photo size
recommendations.
What format do you prefer for
the digital images you receive?
Please send digital images in the following formats: PDF, JPEG, TIFF,
PSD, AI, EPS, BMP. Please contact us if you
have a different format that you would prefer to use.
How do you ship the puzzles?
Standard shipping is USPS or FedEx Ground. Expedited shipping is available
for phone orders. You may also request expedited shipping via email after your order has been placed.
Does your web site provide secure
checkout?
Our online payment form uses industry standard encryption to secure your
credit card and personal information.
How large of puzzles can you make?
The largest puzzle Up In Pieces offers from a single photo or artwork
is 24"x36".
How come you can get a 1,000 piece
puzzle for $20 at a local megamart, and you are $140 for the largest puzzle
on your website?
Non-custom puzzles can be made in large quantities for very cheap. Up
In Pieces focuses on providing our customers with the most customizable
puzzle possible. Our puzzles are made with your picture and we can customize
the puzzle cut to add figure pieces, word pieces, shaped puzzles or other
options. Producing a single highly customized puzzle is much more expensive.
Could you give me more information
on quantity discounts?
We offer discounts on 4"x6" and 8"x10"
puzzles on our website. For other orders, please contact
us with your specific requirements including size and number of pieces.
We will then be able to accurately quote you a price for your order.
Can you tell me what the thickness
of the standard puzzle is?
Our puzzle backing is 1/16th inch thick matte board.
Do you make a wooden or 3 dimensional
puzzle?
We currently only offer 2 dimensional cardboard puzzles.
Can you do a puzzle from a Corporate
Logo?
Yes, we can make a puzzle from any artwork you provide.
Can I get a puzzle with 25 large
pieces?
Up In Pieces can customize a puzzle cut to be an exact number of pieces.

Do you manufacture puzzles for
children with the little handles on each piece?
We do not manufacture puzzles with handles on the pieces. We do offer
puzzle cuts with large pieces and animal shapes.
Will my next order be deducted
from my debit/credit card information that I already submitted?
For the best security, Up In Pieces does not store customer credit card
information. If you would like to order additional products you must submit
your credit card information again.
Can I have the packaging be inconspicuous?
We can leave off the puzzle picture on the packaging upon request. Please
contact us to make this request.

Can I order a puzzle shaped like
the outline of the image that I send, the same way that your sunflower
puzzle is shaped like the sunflower with no borders?
This order must be paid for by phone. Please contact
us with size, number of pieces, and other specifics for pricing.

What if the proportions of the
photo i send do not fit the proportions of the puzzle i order?
All puzzles are laid out by hand. If the photo proportions do not fit,
the photo may be cropped to fit the puzzle. If the photo cannot be cropped
without losing important information a colored border may be added to
the photo.
Do you have different print quality
levels?
All of our puzzles are printed at full color photo quality with archival
inks rated to last 80 years without fading.
How do you package the puzzles?
Standard Up In Pieces puzzles larger than 4x6" are packaged in a
can with a picture of the puzzle on the can. 4x6" puzzles are packaged
in a baggy.
Do you have any previous customers
that may be contacted for references?
Up In Pieces does not share our customers private information. Please
refer to our online testimonials.
I unfortunately do not have access
to a higher resolution scanner. Would it be better for me to send you
the original picture?
Usually, if you cannot obtain a high resolution digital photo, it is best
to send us the ORIGINAL photo print. If you are unsure, please contact
us.
Will my photo that I sent by
mail be returned?
Yes, your photo will be returned with your puzzle order.
Do you ship to Canada?
Yes, Up In Pieces ships to Canada. Select your providence in our online shopping cart to calculate shipping charges.

How do I place my order?
You may place your order on our web site, over the phone, or by mail.

the directions. To order over the phone please contact
us. To order by mail you may either specify your order online and
print the final page or you may download our printable
order form (pdf format).
Is a catalog available?
There is currently no catalog available.
Can I get a puzzle made from
a picture I got off the internet?
Many pictures posted on the internet are not high enough quality to produce
a quality puzzle print. Also, there may be copyright restrictions on the
file. If you are unsure whether a photo you found will make a quality
puzzle, please email it to us and we will reply
with our recommendations.
Can I get text printed on my
puzzle?
Yes, we can professionally layout text on your puzzle according to your
specifications. A $10 fee applies. You may specify your text on our online
order form.
How large of puzzle artwork can
you scan?
We scan up to 8x10 photos or artwork for puzzles for free. For larger
scans additional fees may apply.
Can I make a puzzle from a collage
of pictures?
Yes, we can accept any artwork for a puzzle. This can be a picture, a
company logo, a collage you made,etc. If you would like us to layout a
collage from multiple pictures that you provide additional fees apply.
Collage prices are $3 per digital photo and/or $5 per photo we must scan.

I may want to order two, identical
puzzles?
Up In Pieces can produce puzzles with identical cuts and with identical
pictures. However, the pieces may not be interchangeable between the two
puzzles because the cut on one puzzle may not line up exactly where the
cut on the second puzzle does.
What methods of payment do you
accept?
We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, check and money order. Orders
paid by check may be delayed until the check clears.
