As the leaves don autumnal hues and the air grows crisp, our thoughts naturally turn to Thanksgiving, that cherished time of year when we gather with loved ones to express our gratitude for life's bounties. In my time, the celebration was marked by bountiful feasts and heartfelt togetherness. Today, I am delighted to observe a novel tradition that intertwines beautifully with the essence of Thanksgiving – the assembling of custom jigsaw puzzles.

Jigsaw - Mark Ball
Fiddly bits and
Mismatched shapes;
Come into my house,
Shut off the drapes.
I'll piece them together
This one and that.
But you don't believe in board games
So it's bound to fall flat.

Let me introduce myself. My name is Valentine. I lived in Rome during the third century. That was long, long ago! At that time, Rome was ruled by an emperor named Claudius. I didn't like Emperor Claudius, and I wasn't the only one! A lot of people shared my feelings.
Turkey is cooking, family is here, lets have some quality family time. Play games, watch the parade or football on TV, do crafts, help cook the dinner. Make the most out of your time with your family and give thanks for all that you have.

Halloween is an exciting time for children of all ages and most parents too. The costumes, staying up late, trick-or-treating with friends, the treats and making memories. Earlier this summer, Up In Pieces was a happy sponsor of the Sandy Point Shindig + Women's Global Event. This disc golf tournament took place in Idaho's beautiful Sandy Point State Park, a division of Lucky Peak State Park near Boise, Idaho. It was part of a larger global event put on by the Professional Disc Golf Association which allowed women disc golf players to compete and connect with each other across the globe. Men were also welcome to compete.
